For some, Christmas is not always "the most wonderful time of the year". Some continue to face devastating losses from September's flooding, jobs are hard to come by... and some are facing their first Christmas without a cherished loved one.
If you or someone you know is struggling to find the spirit this season, we invite you to join us for Central UMC's "Blue Christmas: A Service of Hope" on Sunday, December 9, at 7:00pm. In fact, all are welcome - as we need to let those who are challenged this season know they are not alone.
There will be reflective music of the season, scriptures, and a time of prayers for healing... all in a beautiful candlelit setting. Come, bring a friend, and allow the Holy Spirit to lift you up this season.
